5. As the cavity flange approaches the furnace tube, very gently continue insertion until
the cavity stops moving. It is now touching the control thermocouple, so do not force
more movement.
6. Final spacing between the cavity collar and the furnace tube should be about 1/8”
(3 mm).
7. Replace the front panel being careful not to allow it to strike the cavity collar or cavity
assembly.
Note: Some cracking on the cavity collar is normal. If the M330 is to be moved, remove
cavity prior to moving.
