(1) Read and follow this Manual every time you use hitch.
(2) Save this Manual and Hitch Warning Hang Tag for future reference.
(3) Pass on copies of Manual and Hitch Warning Hang Tag to any other
user or owner of hitch.
(4) Never remove hitch warning decals as shown on the cover of this
manual. If damaged, contact Reese (1-888-521-0510 or
www.reeseprod.com).

Remove head assembly from pivot beam (2 bolts and 2 outer washers)

– retain for

reinstallation.

Push out the old isolators, snubbers and small washers and discard.

Apply white lithium grease to the outside edges of the orange isolators

Place the isolators in the pivot beam from the center, using a rubber mallet drive the orange
isolators into place.

The inner edge of the tube that is sticking out of the isolator should be flush with the inside
edge of the pivot beam.

Place the 2 large snubbers over the tube sticking out of the isolator.

Insert the inner bushing into the isolator.

Re-

assemble the pivot beam to the head pan assembly, torque the 5/8” bolts to 200 ft./lbs.
