Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent
entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a
vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

Step 8 Remove bolt
1.
Open tailgate to gain access to the rear taillights assembly.
2.
Using small screwdriver or a trim panel tool remove the plastic, covering the
fasteners.
3.
Remove the (2) nuts holding the taillight in place. Then carefully remove the taillights
assembly using flat bladed screwdriver to gently walk the taillight off the threaded
post. Unplug the taillight from the vehicle wiring. Both sides.
4.
Remove the rear reflector from the rear fascia, being careful not to scratch the fascia.
