INSTALLING THE PISTON BODY/PISTON SEAL ONTO THE PISTON ROD.
•
Place 1-2 drops of thread lock on the Piston Body threads.
•
Screw the Piston Body and Piston Barrel Seal/Cup Seal Assembly into the Piston Rod. (FIG
5.80/5.81)
•
Before tightening down, make sure the Piston Cup Compression Ring is lined up with the Piston
Rod. (FIG 5.82)
•
Caution: If using the Piston Cup Design, the Piston Cup Compression Ring will be damaged if
not correctly installed/aligned and then tightened down.
