11.1 Display of the device status
The MFM/MFC has an LED to display the device status, the colour and status change according to NAMUR 107.
If more than one device status exists simultaneously, the device status with the highest priority is displayed.

OFF The device is not energized. Energize the device.
Flashing
(any colour) Device is selected using the "Bürkert Communicator"
software. Deselect the device in the Communicator.
White / Lit The device is energized and in a control mode (see
chap. "9.6.3").
A CANopen/ büS communication is established. In the
case of a büS device, an assigned büS peer has been
found. -
White / Flashing Mode 1:
Control loop disabled, direct specification of the variable
to the valve. -
Mode 2: SETPOINT SOURCE set to STORED
SETPOINT

Mode 3:
If a CANopen communication is established, the device is
in a Pre-operational Mode or in a Stopped Mode. -
Red / Lit Mode 1: faulty sensor. Maintenance is needed –
Contact the manufacturer.
Mode 2: faulty memory.
Mode 3: faulty device.
