6.6. Overview of Basic functions and auxiliary
functions
6.6.1. Basic functions
The following basic functions are created as device menu items in the navigation area in the factory:
INPUT Entry of the unit signal input for the set-point value
CHARACT Selection of the transfer characteristic between input signal and stroke (correction
characteristic)
CUTOFF Sealing function for positioner
DIR.CMD Effective direction between input signal and set-point position
RESET Reset to factory settings
TUNE Automatic adjustment of the positioner to the relevant operating conditions
The parameterization and description of basic functions may be found in Section " 7. Parameterization of
Basic Functions".
6.6.2. auxiliary functions
The following auxiliary functions can be added to the device menu:
DIR.ACTUATOR Assignment of the aeration state of the actuator chamber to the actual position
SPLITRANGE Signal split range; input signal as % for which the valve runs through the entire stroke
range.
X.LIMIT Limit the mechanical stroke range
X.TIME Limit the control speed
X.CONTROL Parameterize the positioner
SAFE POSITION Definition of the safety position
SIGNAL ERROR Configuration of signal level fault detection
BINARY INPUT Activation of the binary input
OUTPUT Configuration of the output (only with auxiliary board for analog feedback)
