6.1 safety instructions

Danger!

risk of injury from high pressure in the equipment/device.

▶ Before working on equipment or device, switch off the pressure

and deaerate/drain lines.

Warning!

risk of injury from improper assembly.

▶ Installation must only be carried out by authorized technicians

and with the appropriate tools.

risk of injury from unintentional activation of the system and
uncontrolled restart.

▶ Secure system from unintentional activation.

▶ Following assembly, ensure a controlled restart.

6.2 Before installation

• Before connecting the valve, ensure the pipelines are flush.
• Pay attention to the flow direction.

6.2.1 installation position

• The piston-controlled diaphragm valve can be installed in any

position, preferably with connection B downwards.

• Installation for self-drainage of the body:

see chapter "Valve self-draining" in operating instruction.
