Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water
and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection.
Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.

1. For Cadillac installation proceeded to step 3. (No fascia trimming necessary)
2. For Impala installation, trim away shaded region of fascia in figure 3 .
3. Remove existing inner tailpipe hanger 8mm bolts, and replace with supplied 8mm bolts.
4. Replace M8 bolt with item 1 . Tighten fasteners to required specification.
5. Enlarge forward hole on vehicle suspension mount as needed.
6. Install forward bracket as shown. Taping (2) wedge spacer together for easier install. Do not tighten at this time
7. Install flat washers (item 2) on existing weldnut. See Figure 2.
8. Raise hitch into position. Install over the 8mm bolt and existing weldnut sandwiching the flat washers between vehicle frame and hitch bar. Install 3/8” conical
and M8 hex nut. Do not tighten bolts yet.
9. Attach the hitch to the hitch bracket. Due to vehicle variations, use which ever slot lines up best.
10. Tighten fasteners to required specification
Vehicle suspension

Vehicle forward
Tighten 8mm-1.25 CL. 9.8 bolts with torque wrench to 25 Lb.-Ft. (34 N*M)
Tighten 1/2”-13 Gr.5 bolts with torque wrench to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N*M)
*Tighten 1/2”-13 Gr. 5 bolts into handle-nut to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M).
