Installation Instructions
Tahoe, Yukon, Full Size Blazer Chevy/GMC Pickup, Suburban,
1500 Series – All 2WD & 4WD, 2500 & 3500 Series – 4WD,

* Use with optional OEM tow hook.
NOTE: If front mounted license plate is present, repositioning may be necessary.
1.
If present, remove lower fascia under bumper.
2. If present, remove vehicle tow hooks.
3. Feed the fasteners shown above through end of frame using pull wire.
4. Raise hitch into position and attach fasteners and tow hooks as shown above.
5. If large slot is not present, drill a 1/2" hole using the hitch as a template.
6. If desired, trim and reinstall the lower fascia. CONSULT VEHICLE OWNER BEFORE TRIMMING.

Pull Wire, 1/2” Qty. (2) 6 Conical Washer, 1/2” Qty. (6) 3
Carriage Bolt, 1/2”-13 x 2-1/2” Qty. (4) 5 Spacer, 1-1/2” x 2” x 1/4” Qty. (6) 2
Nut, 1/2” Qty. (6) 4 Carriage Bolt, 1/2”-13 x 1-3/4” Qty. (6) 1
Tighten all 1/2” GR5 fasteners with torque wrench to 75 Lb.-Ft (102 N-m).
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5
and SAE J684.
