Installation Instructions
Ford F-250 & F-350 Superduty Pickup, Excursion (All Models)
F-350, F-450, & F-550 Cab & Chassis With 34” Frame

NOTE: OPTIONAL OEM FOG LIGHTS MUST BE REMOVED FOR RECEIVER INSTALLATION.
1.
Remove six (6) bumper bolts, bumper and (2) shim plates if present.
2.
Remove OEM tow hooks if present.
3.
Place bumper on protected surface to prevent scratching. Place receiver inside bumper. See Figure 2.
4.
Loosen six (6) nuts to remove lower front cross member (if equipped).
5.
Center receiver hole pattern side to side on bumper hole pattern. Mark location of drilled holes in bumper, in center of receiver slots. See
Figure 3.
6.
Remove receiver from bumper and drill marked holes with 5/8" drill.
7.
Place receiver on frame.
8.
Reinstall lower front cross member (if equipped).
9.
Reinstall OEM tow hooks removed in Step 2.
10.
Reinstall bumper using four (4) fasteners removed in Step 1. Do not install shim plates.
11.
Install remaining fasteners as shown in Figure 1. CAUTION: HOLD DRIVER’S SIDE HANDLE NUTS IN PLACE TO PREVENT
THEM FROM ROTATING INTO AIR CONDITIONG CONDENSER.
12.
Return shim plates to customer.
Tighten all fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Lb.-Ft (68 N-m).

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5
and SAE J684.
