Erasing Images (All Image Erase)
You can erase images one image at a time, or you can erase all images on the CF card at once.
This section describes how to erase all the images recorded on a CF card in one operation. To
erase images one at a time, see “Erasing a Recorded Image (Single Image Erase)”. (

Set the camera to PLAY.

Press the

The latest picture taken will be displayed.

Press the

〉
button.
The Erase menu appears.

Turn the

〉
dial to select [All…],
then press the
〈
〉
button.
The Erase Confirmation message appears.

Turn the

dial to select [OK],
then press the
〈
〉
button.
The camera erases all unprotected
images.

Once an image is protected, it cannot be removed by the camera’s Erase function.
To erase a protected image, you must first remove the protection.(→107).
●
Once an image is erased, it cannot be recovered. Make sure you no longer need
the image before erasing it.
If you protect the images you need (→107) and erase all the images at once, all
non-protected images will be erased. This is handy when you want to erase all the
images you do not need at once.
