When programming in the field, certain characters are most conveniently represented by
their hexadecimal rather than their ASCII values. The table below shows the hexadecimal
equivalent of each ASCII character:

NOTE: Upper and lower case characters can be used interchangeably in SIS
commands for this product.
The

values defined in this section are the variables used in the fields of the command
and response table.

— 0 to 100: Volume level steps (0 = mute)

— Status (0 = Off or Disable; 1 = On or Enable)

— Relay pulse time (in 20 milliseconds increments) from 12 to 65535. For example,
the minimum value (12) is equivalent to 12*20 = 240 ms. The maximum value (65535) is
equivalent to 65535*20 ms, which is 1310 seconds.
X$
— 0.00 to 10.00: Maximum output voltage or resistance (kilohms).
NOTE: The final 0 must be used, for example 8.50 (8.5, without the 0 will return an
error). The leading 0, for example 08.50, is optional.
X%
— Sets control mode (0 = potentiometer; 1 = voltage)
X^
— Sets volume taper mode (0 = linear; 1 = logarithmic)

— Firmware version number (in the format: x.xx)

— The unit name is an alphanumeric string of up to 24 characters that allows the user
