Create ties
1. Commands can be made back-to-back, with no spaces. For example:
1*1!02*02%003*003$4*4!.
2. The quick multiple tie and tie input to all output commands activate all I/O switches
simultaneously.
3. The MAVs support 1-, 2-, and 3-digit numeric entries (1*1, 02*02, and 003*003).
Tie input X2 to output X3 , video (V) X2 * X3 ! Out X3 •In X2 •All Tie input X2 ’s video and audio
and audio (A) to output X3 .
Example: 1*3! Out3•In1•All Tie input 1 video and audio to
output 3.
Tie input X2 to output X3 , video only X2 * X3 % Out X3 •In X2 •Vid Audio is broken away.
Example (see NOTE): 7*5% Out5•In7•Vid Tie input 7 video to output 5.
Tie input X2 to output X3 , RGBHV X2 * X3 & Out X3 •In X2 •RGB Audio is broken away.

The & tie command for RGB and the % tie command for video can be used interchangeably on
the matrix switchers.
