Total suspended solids sensor in a pipe (90 °)
The following points must be observed for a right-angled installation in
the pipe (Fig. 3-6):
Rotate the sensor so that the marking on the sensor points in the
direction of the pipe axis
Select a position where the pipe diameter is as large as possible as
the installation location (see section 3.3.5 D
Note
In a 90° pipe installation with low levels of total suspended solids
(< 2000 mg/l SiO2 or < 1000 mg/l TSS), the effects of the
measurement environment can have a particularly significant effect on
the measured value. Ensure the optimum conditions of the
measurement environment (see section 3.3.1).

Connect the SACIQ (SW) sensor connection cable to the plug
head connector of the sensor and screw it tight (see section
3.5.1).

Attach a marking aid (adhesive strips or similar) in the same
position as the marking on the sensor to the plug head
connector.
