9 Measured value transmission to a WEB-VV server

Define a WEB-VV event as described in chapter "Set up measured
value transmission".
Signal conditioning instrument with GPRS modem
Prerequisites for setup:
•
PC with PACTware and suitable DTM as well as access to the
signal conditioning instrument via VEGACONNECT or USB
•
Modem location with sufficient wireless coverage
•
SIM card with activated data transmission (data card CSD+GPRS)
•
PIN of SIM card deactivated
•
Internet access data with APN (Access Point Name) from the
mobile communications provider must be known.
•
To keep transmission costs low, we recommend using a pure data
rate (M2M) with low data block rounding (1 kB)
Start PACTware and make a connection to the signal conditioning in-
strument. Select the menu item "Instrument settings - RS232 interface
". Carry out the following steps as shown in the following illustrations.
Enter the parameters for the RS232 interface as shown.
