9.5 Error codes
Error code
Meaning
E004
This operation is not supported by the instrument (different software versions).
You have tried to activate a function with a newer software version of VEGA
Visual Operating in an instrument with older software version. However, the
instrument cannot support this operation.
Have the software of your instrument updated.
E014
Possible short-circuit
Probable reasons:
- short-circuit
- sensor is defective
Check the connection cable and, if necessary, the sensor.
Also possible
- an incorrect measuring range is adjusted on the capacitive electrode.
Adjust a smaller range.
E015
Possible short-circuit
Probable reasons:
- no sensor connected
- line break
- sensor is defective
Check the connection cable and, if necessary, the sensor.
E016
Empty/full adjustment reversed. The values of the empty adjustment are above
the values of the full adjustment. Carry out the adjustment again.
E017
Adjustment span too small. The adjustment values are too close together or are
identical. Carry out the adjustment again.
E021
Span of the scaling values too small or values reversed. The scaling values are
too close together or are identical. Please check the scaling.
E022
Scaling span too big.
E027
Actual measured value is less than -10 %.
E28
Actual measured value is more than 110 %.
E031
Same DISBUS address. At least one other instrument with the same DISBUS
address is connected to the DISBUS. Please check the DISBUS address.
E032
Instrument address 0. Instrument address 0 is set on VEGAMET. With this
address, VEGAMET does not participate in the DISBUS communication, even if
the DISBUS is wired. If necessary, modify the instrument address.
E034
Instrument error. A considerable error was detected in the instrument (possibly
defective EEPROM). Disconnect voltage and then connect again (cold start). If
the error is not eliminated, please contact your VEGA agency.
