Linearisation
The relation between level and filling volume
is described with so-called linearisation
curves. If, in your vessel, there is a correla-
tion other than linear between level ("
Percent-
age value“ of the level) and the filling volume
(linearised value of the filling volume), choose
in the menu window "
Conditioning“ the menu
item " Instrument data/Parameter adjustment/
Conditioning“.
• Click in the menu window " Conditioning“ to
the menu item
"Linearisation“.
The menu window " Linearisation“, in which a
correlation between percentage value of the
level and the percentage value of the filling
volume is preadjusted. Beside the two pro-
grammed linearisation curves "
Horizontal
cylindrical tank“ and "Spherical tank“ you can
also enter "
user programmable curves“.
Linear means there is a linear correlation
between level and volume.
Setup - Adjustment with the PC on VEGAMET
• Click to „
Application“, to „Input no. A“ and
„
VEGAMET“, to get detailed information to
your measurement loop in the information
windows.
• Close the information windows.
• Quit the menu „
Meas. loop data“.
• Click in the menu window „ Instrument data
parameter adjustment“ to
Quit“.
You are again in the main menu window.
