Standpipe measurement in
inhomogeneous products
If you want to measure inhomogeneous products
or laminated products in surge pipe it must
have long holes or slots. These openings ensure
that the liquid is mixed and balanced at the
correct level.

The more inhomogeneous the measured
product, the closer the openings should be.
For reasons of radar signal polarization the
holes and slots must be positioned in two
rows displaced by 180°.
The mounting of the radar sensor is then
such that the type plate is in one axis with the
row of holes.
