2.11 EDITING A SCHEDULED INGEST
Different procedures exist, depending whether you want to edit a one-shot ingest,
all the blocks of a repeat ingest or a single block of a repeat ingest.
A block modification is automatically applied to the other blocks of the same clip,
e.g. a change on a hi-res block will be applied on the corresponding stream block,
lo-res block,…

Repeat Every ingests:
•
Repeat Every ingests can never be edited.
Repeat ingests:
•
A multiselection of a Repeat ingest can never be edited.
•
A single block or all the blocks from a Repeat ingest can be edited only if a
single block is selected for the operation and if
o
if ingests are still scheduled for editing TC IN
o
if ingests are recording or scheduled for editing TC OUT and duration
The users will be asked whether they want to edit this occurrence only or all the
occurrences of the series.
The TC of all the clip elements will then be modified.
One-shot ingests:
•
A multiselection of a One-shot ingest can never be edited.
•
A single One-shot ingest can be edited only
o
if ingests are still scheduled when users want to edit TC IN
o
if ingests are recording or scheduled when users want to edit TC OUT or
duration
The TC of all the clip elements will then be modified.

To edit a one-shot scheduled ingest, several options are available. Depending on
the situation and preference, do one of the following:
•
right-click a block and select Edit
•
double-click a block
•
drag-and-drop the block limits
