This pane, highlighted in pink on the above outline, provides the functions to
create a clip.
For detailed information on the clip creation, refer to section 1.4.1 ‘How to Create
a Clip’ on page 6.
IN Field
Timecode of the IN point.
Duration Field
Time interval between the IN and OUT point, i.e. clip duration.
OUT Field
Timecode of the OUT point.
Mark IN Button
When pressing the button, you set an IN point at the timecode shown in the
Timecode field. The timecode of the IN point is then displayed in the IN field.
Mark OUT Button
When pressing the button, you set an OUT point at the timecode shown in the
Timecode field. The timecode of the OUT point is then displayed in the OUT field.

LSM Mode
If an EVS video server is in LSM base mode, the recorder panels are for
information only, the actual recording mode of each channel configured to record
are set by the LSM configuration. Each recorder channel will start recording and
continue in a loop record mode from start up. The recorder channel cannot be
started or stopped by an IPDirector workstation but the recorder Panel will show
the current recording timecode and its record status.
IPDP Spotbox mode
If EVS video server IPDP Spotbox mode is used, the panel buttons are active and
recorders can be started or stopped using this panel.
