The Clip Options pane contains the following fields:
Field Description
Keywords
Keywords that can be selected from a keyword grid or
dictionary file.
Protect
Button allowing the protection of the clip once created.
Interest Level
User-defined rating of the clip.
Clip Type
Type of clip in relation with the Fill and Key function.
The possible values are ‘Normal’, ‘Fill’, ‘Key’.
Owner
Name for the user who has created the ingest.
Send To Bins
Destinations where the clip can be transferred to.
Select the check boxes corresponding to the requested
destinations.
This action is also possible later on from the Send to option
in the contextual menu of the Database Explorer or Control
Panel.
Publish To
User groups to which the clip can be published, i.e. made
available.
Select the user groups to which the clips should be made
available.
This action is also possible later on from the Publish option
in the contextual menu of the Database Explorer or Control
Panel.
Clip Category
Allows the user to assign an existing category to the ingest
block.
Add New
Category
Button that allows the user to define new categories.
The Clip Metadata pane contains the following fields:
Field Description
Clip Profile
Drop-down list in which the users can select a clip profile for
the metadata other than the current one, if they have
appropriate user rights. The metadata associated with the
selected clip profile will be applied to the new ingest.
Clip Profile

The metadata fields belonging to the Clip Profile are
displayed in the Clip Profile drop-down list.
