2.6 REMAINING CAPACITY AREA
At the end of the line of each recorder channel and stream, a Start button, a Stop
button and a box indicating the remaining capacity are present.
2.6.1 S
TART BUTTON
The Start button has a white background when no ingest or growing clip is being
recorded on the corresponding channel or stream.
Otherwise, the button background is red.
Pressing the Start button will have the following effect, depending on the ingests
already present on the corresponding channel:
Ingest Type Action of Start button
No ingest Starts a new growing clip (without OUT point).
This type of block has no stop time. It will continue
recording until you stop it manually.
Growing clip No action.
Recording ingest Starts a new growing clip (without OUT point).
Growing clip and
recording ingest
overlapped
No action.

TOP BUTTON
The Stop button is dimmed when no ingest or growing clip is being recorded on
the corresponding channel or stream.
Otherwise, the Stop button is active and can be used.
