EATURES
Four different maintenance sub-modes are available in the Maintenance
window. You select the maintenance feature you want to use by clicking the
corresponding icon.
The following table gives a short overview of the main actions available in
the various maintenance sub-modes:
Sub-mode Description
Clip Maintenance
The Clip Maintenance makes it possible to:
•
view the metadata of a clip
•
delete backup clips and files from the XFile disks
•
generate a storyboard, i.e. an HTML file with
thumbnails and information on all the clips
displayed in the XFile list.

Disks-Folders
Maintenance
The Disks-Folders Maintenance makes it possible to:
•
create and delete folders in the the XFile data
paths to maintain the folder structure on the XFile
disks
•
create and delete external folders on the XNet
network
•
move files to folders of the XFile data paths
•
copy files to external folders.

Playlist
Maintenance
The Playlist Maintenance makes it possible to :
•
save a list of clips as a playlist on an XFile disk
•
publish and restore the playlist on the XNet
network (not yet available).
•
export the playlist to a single media file.

Disk Maintenance
In Mirroring mode, the Disk Maintenance makes it
possible to:
•
copy files from one XFile path to the other
•
synchronize the files between two mirrored XFile
paths.
