Moving through Media
5.1.
Introduction
The Player pane provides a jog bar and more transport buttons to navigate in the loaded
element. In addition, other options allow to directly jump to a given timecode within the
media.
5.2.
Transport Functions
5.2.1.
Using the Jog Bar
The bullet indicator can be moved with the mouse along the jog bar to browse the media
and to play it from any position if needed.
See section "Jog Bar" on page 21 for a description of the elements of the jog bar.
5.2.2.
General Transport Buttons and Shortcuts
The following table gives the meaning of each transport operation. A button and/or a
keyboard shortcut can be used to perform each action.

Play
or
Starts to play the loaded media at 100%
for normal clips, at 33% for "SLSM clips
3x" or at 50% for "SLSM clips 2x".
The button switches to the Pause
button.
The Speed field, above the Play button,
indicates the playout speed.
Pause
or
Stops the playout of the loaded media.
The button switches to the Play button.
The Speed field, above the Pause
button, indicates at which speed the
media is played.
Fast
Rewind
Starts moving backwards through the
media at the preset speed.
