The Read Codes function enables the Scan Tool to retrieve and dis-
play any specific emission-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)
stored in vehicle’s memory. This function can be performed with key
on engine off (KOEO) or key on engine running (KOER).
From the Diagnostic Codes Menu:
1.Select Read Codes.
•Use UP or DOWN arrow key
until Read Codes is highlighted.
•Press ENTER.
Keep hands and tools away from fan and engine
during test.
