This system was developed for the
emergency self-evacuation of a trained
individual in a critical situation, when
there are no other means of escape.
This system is designed to support the
weight of a single person.
Only firefighters who have completed
specific training in the use of the EXO
and obtained authorization from their
fire hall are authorized to use the EXO.
We recommend that you perform a
practice descent at least once a year,
using your EXO system. During this
practice, you must be backed up by a
separate belay system.
Do not reuse your EXO after it has been
used in an emergency situation.
