Document Scanner Size Sensing
There are 12 preprogrammed size zones that are used to detect the
size of the originals that are fed through the Document Feeder.
When using the Document Feeder, if you scan originals that are not
one of the default sizes, a loss of image or dark edges may occur. If
this is the case, follow the instructions listed on page 12-19 to
redefine a size zone. This page also contains a complete listing of the
default size zones.
NOTE
Once a zone is changed, the system assumes that any document that
is loaded and matches this zone is the new size until the zone is
changed again.
