Printer Not Operating
Cause Action
Power cable not connected properly Check all cable connections. Check that the host
computer and power supply are both on. The power
supply is turned on by plugging it into an outlet.
Paper jam in receipt/journal or slip
station Open the cover and the clamshell. Push the carriage away
from the paper jam. Remove any jammed paper or other
obstructions.
Press the Reset button to remove error status.
Press the Paper Feed button to make sure the paper is no
longer jammed.

Receipt/Journal paper empty Check paper roll and add a new roll if necessary. For step-
by-step instructions, see section 2.
