Error Messages for Bluetooth
This section explains the causes of and solutions for the various dis-
played error messages.
Error messages during COM/DUN service
An error has occurred with the Bluetooth SD Card. Confirm that the
card is working properly.
Cause There was an error when loading the driver.
Solution Try reinserting the Card.
Unable to retrieve Local Device information.
Solution Reset the Toshiba Pocket PC.
Unable to retrieve Local Device information due to insufficient mem-
ory. Check the amount of available memory.
Solution Reset the Toshiba Pocket PC, increase the memory, and then
restart Bluetooth Settings.
Remote device search failed due to insufficient memory. Check the
amount of available memory.
Solution Increase the memory and then try the remote device search
again.
Unable to retrieve remote device information.
Solution Display the remote device list again or try the remote device
search again.
Unable to update remote device information.
Solution Depending on communications conditions, Local Device may
not be able to locate the service of the remote device. Try the
remote device search again or reset the Toshiba Pocket PC.
The maximum number of remote devices (255) has been exceeded.
Delete all unneeded remote devices.
Solution Delete unneeded ghost devices and try the remote device
search again. If more than 255 devices are discovered, some
devices will not be displayed.
