14. CHANGE USER PASSWORD
When the “MFP Local Authentication” feature is used, administrators can change authentication password
assigned for each user in such a case that he or she forgets the password.
1 Press the [CHANGE USER PASSWORD] button in the ADMIN menu.
• The CHANGE PASSWORD menu is displayed.
• To display the ADMIN menu, see “1.ENTERING TO ADMIN MENU”. P.91
• The [CHANGE USER PASSWORD] button is available only when the “MFP Local Authentication” feature is
enabled. For more information about enabling its feature, please see the Top Access Guide.
2 Press the [USER NAME] button.
• The input screen is displayed.
3 Enter the user name using the keyboard and digital keys, and press
the [ENTER] key to set the entry.
