Under the Maintenance tab
the system software can be
upgraded, new options can
be made available via the
installation of option keys,
the system password can
be changed, and the system
can be restarted.
To upgrade the
Entrypoint, a valid
Release key and
Software file are
required. However,
for dot-release upgrades
a Release Key won’t be
needed.
To expand software options
additional Option keys
are required. Contact your
TANDBERG representative
for more details.
System Information
Software Version. • Shows the currently
installed Software version.
Hardware Serial Number. • This unique
identifier number for the Entrypoint must
be provided when ordering Software
Upgrades and Option Keys.
Release Key. Needed to upgrade a system to
a new version. Dot releases do not require an
option key.
Maintenance – General
The Entrypoint’s system
software can be upgraded
via the
Upgrade item in the
Maintenance menu. It also
shows current software
version and the Entrypoint’s
hardware serial number. For
new software versions a
release key must be entered
before the upgrade can be
activated.
