Press / to select the item, then press ENTER.
Auto: For normal use. The image can be paused without shaking.
Frame: The resolution of still pictures is improved so that you can make
a motionless picture clearer when you pause it.
Parental Lock
DVD videos equipped with the parental lock function are rated according to their content. The content allowed by
a parental lock level and the way a DVD video can be controlled may vary from disc to disc. For example, some
discs allows you to edit out violent scenes unsuitable for children and replace them with more suitable scenes, or
lock out playback of the disc altogether.
• DVD videos may or may not respond to the parental lock settings. This Is not a defect in the DVD Receiver.
Make sure this function works with your DVD videos.
On: Select to activate the parental lock feature or change the settings. The next
screen will appear for detailed settings. (See page 55.)
Off: The parental lock feature is disabled.
Pause / Still
Select "Auto" or "Frame" by pressing
/ , then press ENTER.
If you do not want to make any other
settings, proceed to step 4 on page 56.
Select "On" or "Off" by pressing / ,
then press ENTER.
Press the number buttons to create a
personal 4-digit security code, then press
ENTER.
If you make a mistake before pressing ENTER,
press CLEAR and enter your 4-digit security code
again.
If you do not want to make any other settings,
proceed to step 4 on page 56.
