Entering Characters
■ Naming the preset stations
You can name the preset stations using up
to 8 characters.
• You can use the following characters:
_ represents a space.
Note:
You cannot edit the name while the unit is receiving RDS.
First select the preset station you wish to name.

Press and hold down MEMORY to dis-
play “NAME IN.”
Press MULTI JOG.
Select a character.
Press MULTI JOG to select a character.
Press MULTI JOG to enter the character.
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to enter up to eight char-
acters.
Tip
• If you wish to leave the name blank, press
MULTI JOG while no character is displayed.
Press and hold down MEMORY to store
the name.
