Selecting the Camera Angle

Viewing from the desired camera angle
If a DVD contains scenes shot from multiple camera
angles, you can switch the angle during playback. Such
DVD discs are labelled with a
mark on the jacket.

If the
mark appears on the TV screen, press SHIFT,
then press ANGLE within 10 seconds.
During scenes that were shot from multiple camera angles, the TV
screen displays the
mark.
Press ANGLE repeatedly within 10 seconds after you
press SHIFT (as mentioned in Step 1) to select the
desired angle.
Each press of ANGLE switches the camera angle.

Turning off the
mark on the TV screen
If you do not want the
mark to be displayed on the TV screen, set “Angle Indicator” in the
default setting window to “Off” (page 107).
Notes
• Some discs may not allow you to change the camera angle even if the
mark appears
on screen.
• Pause is cancelled if you change the camera angle during pause.
• You can also select a camera angle using the disc menu on some DVDs.
