Remote Controller

DOCK mode is for controlling an Apple iPod in an
Onkyo RI Dock.
When Using an RI Dock:
• Connect the RI Dock to the TAPE IN or GAME/TV
IN L/R jacks.
• Set the RI Dock’s RI MODE switch to HDD or
HDD/DOCK.
• Set the AV controller’s Input Display to DOCK (see
• To control a DS-A1 RI Dock, you must enter the
appropriate remote control code first (see page 116).

information.
To set the remote controller to DOCK mode, press the
[DOCK] REMOTE MODE button.

STANDBY button
Turns off the iPod.

Turns on the iPod.

TOP MENU button
Works as a Mode button when used with a DS-A2
RI Dock.

Used to navigate menus and select items.

Selects the next or previous album.

Turns on the backlight for 30 seconds.

Restarts the current song. Press it twice to select the

Pauses playback. (With 3rd generation iPods, it
works as a Play/Pause button.)

Press and hold to rewind.

Used to select the previous or next playlist on the

Used with the repeat function.

Used to access menus.

Starts playback. If the component is off, it will turn

Selects the next song.

Stops playback and displays a menu.

Press and hold to fast forward.

RANDOM button*
Used with the shuffle function.

PLAY MODE button
Used to select play modes on components with
selectable play modes.
Works as a Resume button when used with a DS-A2
RI Dock.
