1. Open Netscape. Click “Edit,” then click “Preferences.”

“Advan ced,” then cl ick “Proxies.” Select “Di rect connect ion t o the
use and follow the appropriate steps.
Internet Explorer
1. Open Internet Explorer. Click “Tools/Internet Options.”
2. In t he “Int ernet Options” wi ndow, cl ick the “Connect ions” t ab. Next,
click the “LAN Settings” button.
3. Clear all the checkboxes.
4. Click “OK,” and then click “OK” again to close the “Internet Options”
window.
