Replacing Consumables

Level during storage.
Do not stand or store cartridges on their ends or turn them upside down;
the toner inside the cartridges may become caked or unequally
distributed.

Away from salty air and corrosive gases such as aerosols.

Steps for Replacing a Toner Cartridge

Attention

Be careful not to spill toner while replacing a toner cartridge. If toner
spills, immediately wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth.

After printing 6000 pages, “TONER EMPTY” displays, and you will no
longer be able to print. Follow the steps below to replace the toner.

Check the message window to see which color (X) toner is out. Follow the
steps below.
By carrying out the steps below, the carousel automatically stops at the
position where the empty toner cartridge can be removed.

Press until
appropriate

displayed.

REPLACE TONER/X

Press the
right arrow to
start the
replace-
ment process.
Press until
appropriate
size is
displayed.

Once the
appropriate
size is
displayed,
press

......PLEASE WAIT......

Then, it displays OPEN DOOR/REPLACE TONER.
