Playback
Reddish areas appear
in photos.
Reddish areas may appear in long time-exposures. Turn noise
reduction on when taking pictures at shutter speeds of “bulb” or
“time”.
Full range of shutter
speeds not available.
Flash in use.
Focus does not lock
when shutter-release
button is pressed
halfway.
Use H to lock focus in c autofocus mode or when
photographing moving subjects in a mode.
Colors are unnatural
• Adjust white balance to match light source.
• Adjust Optimize image settings.
Cannot measure
white balance.
Subject is too dark or too bright.
Image cannot be
selected as source for
preset manual.
Image was not created with D60.
Inconsistent results
with a series of
photographs.
Select Custom in Optimize image and choose a setting other
than Auto for image sharpening and tone compensation.
Metering cannot be
changed.
Autoexposure lock in effect.
Only one shot taken
each time shutter-
release button is
pressed in continuous
release mode.
Continuous shooting is not available when built-in flash is
required.

When photo was taken at image quality of NEF+JPEG, only the
JPEG image will be played back.
Some photos are not
displayed during

Select All for Playback folder. Note that Current will
automatically be selected when next photo is taken.
Flashing areas appear
in images.
Photo information, “Highlights” is displayed.
Shooting data appear
on images.
Photo information, “Shooting data“ is displayed.
A graph appears
during playback.
Photo information, “Histogram“ is displayed.
