Configuring the Power Supplies
Note: The following information applies to five-slot Passport 4400 units
only (models 4450, 4450R). Three-slot units (model 4430) do not
need to be configured.
The power supply at the bottom of the stack is called the master supply. All other
supplies located above the master are called slave supplies. The five-slot models
have one master and either three (4450) or four (4450R) slave power supplies.
If adding new modules to a unit, ensure that the power supplies are properly
configured by following these procedures.
