Remote control
Recording and timer recording
The remote control doesn’t work. ≥The unit is on standby to make a timer recording (“ ” on the unit’s display is on). (page 25)
≥[DVD, TV] (19) is not switched to “DVD”.
Switch to “DVD” when operating this unit. (page 7)
≥The remote control code is wrong.
Change to the correct code. (page 58)
≥The batteries are depleted. Replace them with new ones. (page 7)
≥Point the remote control at the remote control sensor on the main unit. (page 7)
≥Remove obstacles from between the remote control and main unit.
≥The Child Lock function is activated. (page 49)
Cannot operate the television. ≥The remote control code is wrong.

recorded programming.
A part or whole of a recorded
programme has been lost. ≥If there is a power failure or the plug is disconnected from the household AC outlet while
recording or editing, the programme may be lost or the disc may become unusable.
