Using Fax Machine with Your PC
Before you can print from Windows ® on your PC, you must first follow the
steps in this chapter to connect the machine to your computer and to install
the printer driver from the bundled Floppy Disks.
Before You Install Printer Driver
Computer Requirements
The following are the minimum computer requirements you need to set up
and operate as a printer. Use only a shielded interface cable that is IEEE-
1284 compliant, and that is less than 6 feet (1.8 meters) long.
CPU 80486/66MHz or higher (Windows ® 3.1x or 95)
Pentium 75 or Higher (Windows ® 98 or Windows
NT ® Workstation Version 4.0)
RAM 8MB or greater for Windows ® 3.1x
