SSID

SSID (Service Set IDentifier) is a wireless network name.
For security, the wireless devices require the same SSID in
the wireless communication.
Enter the SSID as follows: (The default setting is "HGW600".)
• The SSID is case-sensitive.
• The SSID can be up to 32 alphanumeric characters.

Blanked SSID
connection

When you check Permit, the wireless devices which are set
to "ANY" or blank in the SSID can communicate. After
completing the SSID setting, check Do Not Permit for
security.

Channel

You can set the number of the channel on which wireless
devices communicate. This channel can be selected from 1
to 11 using the drop-down menu. (The default setting is "1".)
If one or more wireless devices are communicating each
other, the communication speed may be reduced due to the
same bandwidth being used. In this case, change to a
different channel for good communication.
