About Recording/Playback function

Problem

Cause and Remedy

You cannot record the
Network Camera screen.

• Make sure the connection between the Network

Camera and the KX-HGW600 have been
successfully made.

• Make sure the SD memory card has been inserted

firmly into the SD memory card slot.

Administrator Only is checked on the Security:

Administrator window of Network Camera
([Security: Administrator]

1. Authentication

Enable). In this case, enter the ID (user name) and
password of the Network Camera on the Camera
Setup window. Please refer to Page 73 for the ID
(user name) and password setting.

• Your SD memory card is full. Delete the recorded

files or replace it with another SD memory card.

• Your SD memory card exceeds the maximum

number of files (150 files) available for one month
(Day 1st to 31st). Delete the recorded files or
replace it with another SD memory card.

• Your SD memory card is write-protected. Take the

write-protect away.

• The Network Camera is being recorded. Stop

recording it and try again.

• The Network Camera is reserved for the timer

recording. Disable the timer recording settings.

You cannot set up timer
recording.

• Do not overlap the timer settings between Timer 1

and Timer 2.

You cannot record with the
specified Frame rate.

• Frame rate changes with the network congestion.

Set up the lower Frame rate and try again.

You cannot play back the
recorded image.

• Make sure the SD memory card has been inserted

firmly into the SD memory card slot.

• The Network Camera is being recorded or reserved

for the timer recording. Stop recording or disable the
timer recording settings and try again.

The time stamp of recorded
files is wrong.

• The time stamp of recorded files synchronizes the

Network Camera internal clock. Adjust the date and
time setting of the Network Camera.

Camera’s manual.

You cannot delete the
recorded files or format your
SD memory card.

• Your SD memory card is write-protected. Take the

write-protect away.

• The Network Camera is being recorded or reserved

for the timer recording. Stop recording or disable the
timer recording settings and try again.
