3.5 NetLink Wireless Telephone Displays
Status display area
When active, the handset displays a row of line icons at the top of the screen. There
are four rows available for text display and a bottom row that displays softkey
abbreviations. Information from the PBX is shown on the text row above the
softkeys. Note that PBX text that would normally be displayed on the Cisco IP
Phone 7960 may be truncated to 16 to 19 characters on the handset.

LINE
display
Pressing the
LINE
key from the active mode displays a list of line appearances
extracted from the programmable keys list. The line appearances are also mapped to
corresponding line icons.
MENU
display
Pressing the
MENU
key from the active state displays an expanded description of the
softkey features. If configured, pressing
MENU
in an active state will display the
diagnostic menus.
Pressing the
MENU
key from the standby state takes you into active on-hook mode.
FCN
display
Pressing the
FCN
key from the active mode displays the Mute, Voicemail, OAI
functions and the speed dial list.
