MAINTENANCE
Tool Kits
To help you perform routine maintenance, a tool kit is provided in the storage
compartment under the seat. Items included in the kits are:
2 cycle engines

flat screwdriver

spark plug wrench with Phillips head screwdriver

tire pressure gauge

spanner wrench for adjusting rear shock spring preload (selected models)
4 cycle engines

screwdriver

open end wrench (8-10 mm)

spanner wrench for adjusting rear shock spring preload (selected models)
NOTE: Other tools are also necessary to perform maintenance work. They are
called out later in this manual.
Power Pig Tail
Some models are equipped
with an auxiliary power outlet.
Refer to your Owner’s Manual
Supplement to determine if your
machine has one.
A power pig tail is included in the
tool kit . This pig tail will allow
you to plug power accessories
into the vehicle. Attach the pig
tail to the power accessory and
then plug into the rear power
outlet of the vehicle.
CAUTION: Be sure to wrap
bare wires with electrical tape
and follow correct wire splicing
procedures to avoid shorts in
the wiring system.
