Spark Arrestor (Cont.)
WARNING
D Do not perform this operation immediately after the engine has been run
because the exhaust system becomes very hot.
D Because of the increased fire hazard, make sure that there are no com-
bustible materials in the area when purging the spark arrestor.
D Wear eye protection.
D Do not stand behind or in front of the vehicle while purging the carbon
from the spark arrestor.
D Never run the engine in an enclosed area. The exhaust contains poi-
sonous carbon monoxide gas.
D Do not go under the machine while it is inclined.
Failure to heed these warnings could result in serious personal injury or death.
CAUTION: Keep combustible materials away from exhaust system. Fire may re-
sult.
