MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Lubrication Recommendations
Engine Oil Check
The oil dipstick (1) is located on the
left side of the ATV (Magnum 500) or
on the left side of the engine (Magnum
330).
1. Position the machine on a level
surface.
2. Start the engine and let it idle for
20-30 seconds. Stop the engine.
3. Remove the dipstick and wipe it
dry with a clean cloth.
4. Screw the dipstick completely in.
NOTE: The dipstick must be
screwed completely in to ensure
an accurate reading.
5. Remove the dipstick
and read the oil level.
Maintain the oil level
in the normal/safe
operating range (2).
Do not overfill.
NOTE: A rising oil level between
checks in cool weather driving can
indicate moisture collecting in the oil
reservoir. If the oil level is over the
full mark, change the oil.
