Do one of the following:
To have image density selected automatically
A Make sure that the
[Auto Image Density] key is selected. If it is not selected
press the [Auto Image Density] key.
Note
❒ If the [Auto Image Density] key is not selected, press the [Auto Image Densi-
ty] key.
❒ If you do not wish to set any other functions, press the { Start } key to
start copying.
To select image density manually
A Press the
[Auto Image Density] key to deselect Auto Image Density.
B Press the
[Lighter] or [Darker] key to adjust the image density.

❒ If you do not wish to set any other functions press the { Start } key to start
copying.
To combine Auto and Manual Image Density
A Make sure that the Auto Image Density is selected.
