Step by Step
Identifying the line used
If several lines are seized at the same time, you can find
out which line you are conversing on.
With the "display line" key configured:
Press the key.
Via the Service Menu:
Press the key. The lamp lights up.

Enter the service code.
or
Select and confirm.
Select and confirm.
The number and status of the line currently in use are
displayed.
A display such as "3235 active" means:
line (3235) is being used.
Alternating between different lines
Precondition 1: System Support has specified that
when the user switches between lines, the lines are
placed on hold and can only be cleared again by replac-
ing the handset or by actuating the "Disconnect" key.
Precondition 2: You are connected to various other par-
ties by way of two or more lines. These can be either
calling parties (
Æ page 67) or called parties
( Æ page 70).
You are conducting a call on line 1, for example. The line
key of the party on hold flashes slowly.
Press the slowly flashing line key. The first party waits
on line 1.
Press the slowly flashing line key. The second party
waits on line 2.
You can alternate between the parties as often as you
wish.
