Notice
Changing the switch settings during operation causes fault displays and activates
the signaling contact. The settings are adopted only after the device is restarted.
The RM switch allows you to configure the SCALANCE X414-3E as a redundancy
manager in a ring with redundancy manager.
The STBY switch is reserved for future functionality and does not currently have
any function.
With switches R1 and R2, you can specify either the two ports in slot 5, the two
ports in slot 6 or the first ports of slots 6 and 7 as ring ports. If you do not want any
ring ports defined, both switches must be set to ON.

No ring redundancy.
